Before the pandemic, I played a lot of Basketball. Indeed team sports are all about collaborating with others to reach a common goal. Indeed, fighting for a common goal with a group of players and coaches taught me how to build teamwork and effectively communicate to solve problems. My parents and ancestors are from different cultural backgrounds. Indeed my father is French while my mother is Namibian. Although, I don’t have dual nationality however I embrace and celebrate my diversity. As a matter of fact, living in a multicultural household made me more tolerant and eager to socialize. I learnt to appreciate the differences and be willing to experience new things.
